Performance history

Dedicated to the classical repertoire

Marcelo Soares built an artistic trajectory dedicated to the interpretation of the classical repertoire, working above all as a solo violinist, chamber musician and orchestral musician. In 2020 he won first prize in an international music competition held in China, becoming, according to the recognition associated with his participation, the first Brazilian to achieve this feat in the competition.

His artistic experience covers the repertoire for violin and orchestra, chamber music and the symphonic repertoire, combining technical rigour, interpretive sensitivity and a commitment to the musical tradition. As a soloist he develops an approach grounded in stylistic understanding, musical construction and expressive communication with the audience.

His participation in performances and international tours, as well as his work in orchestral leadership positions, reflects a career marked by versatility, artistic collaboration and a continuous pursuit of musical excellence.
